Lighting the Way

Fine Art Friday

This week’s featured piece, “Lighting the Way,” was created in the close proximity of Diana's Baths.

I was drawn to the natural leading lines formed by the trees and the sense of depth they created as the forest pulled the eye through the scene. To capture this vision, I used a camera converted for infrared, which completely transforms how the landscape is interpreted—shifting light, texture, and mood into something more ethereal and graphic.

This image was also accepted into the merited image collection of Professional Photographers of America, an honor that recognizes technical and artistic excellence in professional imaging.

The piece is available as a museum-quality framed print here:Lighting the Way (20x30 Matted Museum Black Frame) https://giraffe-ukulele-fhdl.squarespace.com/store/p/lighting-the-way-20x30-matted-with-museum-black-frame A study in light, structure, and stillness—created from a place where nature already did most of the composing.
