KRIS VENTRESCO M. PHOTOG., CR.

Kris’s passion for photography was sparked at a young age, inspired by his father. Growing up with a camera in hand, he learned to capture moments during family vacations and events, laying the foundation for a career rooted in both artistry and storytelling.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Italian from Merrimack College while deepening his knowledge of photography — from black-and-white film to contemporary digital techniques.

Kris has captured countless weddings, portraits, and high-profile events including Frozen Fenway for the Boston Red Sox and the 4th of July Spectacular, featuring performances by the Dropkick Murphys, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Jennifer Hudson, and the Boston Pops Orchestra. His work has appeared in New England Bride and other regional publications.

Kris has expanded into Fine Art photography, showcasing projects in local businesses and published books. His work has earned top honors, including Master of Photography and Craftsman degrees from the Professional Photographers of America, Court of Honor awards, and top wedding images in the Northeast region.

JOHN VENTRESCO

John Ventresco has devoted his life to the art of photography, capturing moments that become timeless family memories. His passion began in high school and led him to study at the Franklin Pierce Institute of Photography, where he honed his craft and apprenticed with experienced masters.

In 1982, John and his wife Yvonne founded Starlight Photography, blending old-world style with modern techniques to create portraits and event photography that are both timeless and contemporary.

John has studied with some of the world’s finest photographic artists, earning recognition locally, nationally, and internationally, including acceptance into the Professional Photographers of America Traveling Loan Collection. His work has been featured in publications such as Rangefinder Magazine, and his piece Tuscan Pastime was selected for the prestigious PPA Loan Collection.
