PPAM Image Competition

There’s something incredibly powerful about putting your work out there for critique.

At this year’s Professional Photographers of Massachusetts Image Competition, I’m honored to have received three Merits — two for landscape concept pieces and one for a reportage image capturing a bicycle race collision just moments before the finish line during the Easton 300 celebration.

That reportage photograph happened in a true split second — where instinct, preparation, and storytelling all aligned. Moments like that are a reminder of why I love photography so much.

I was able to see all of the merited images displayed together, and spotting my three among them was both a proud and humbling experience. I can’t share the competition images just yet as they advance to International judging, but I’m looking forward to sharing them when the time comes.

Grateful. Motivated. Always pushing forward.

Because competition isn’t about trophies — it’s about growth, refinement, and raising the bar year after year.
