Whale’s Tale Fine Art Friday

There are places that stop you in your tracks—not because they're loud, but because they quietly make you think.

This photograph features Reverence, an extraordinary sculpture created by artist Jim Sardonis in 1989. Rising from the Vermont landscape, two massive whale tails—carved from 36 tons of African black granite—appear to dive into a sea of grass. Standing nearly 13 feet tall, the sculpture is a powerful reminder of the beauty of our natural world and the responsibility we all share in protecting it.

When I visited this incredible location, I was struck by the contrast between the strength of the granite and the graceful movement it represents. It's one of those places where art and nature come together in a way that leaves a lasting impression.

I'm excited to add "Whale's Tale" to my Fine Art Collection.

Sometimes the most meaningful photographs are the ones that invite us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the world around us.
